Exam form extension

• Patna: The Bihar School Examination Board (BSEB) has extended the last date for filling registration forms for 2018 Matriculation exam till November 3 because of closure of banks from October 26 to October 29. The chairman of BSEB, Anand Kishor, said: "The date for filling up the form after paying late fines has been extended till November 8."

Soil probe

• Patna: Deputy chief minister Sushil Kumar Modi alleged that two former ministers of the Grand Alliance did not cooperate with the investigation in the soil scam. Modi said the integrity of chief secretary Anjani Singh was not doubted and comments are not made on reports submitted to the court.
