Nitish directive

• PATNA: Chief minister Nitish Kumar on Friday directed officials of the labour resources department to ensure that all girls' Industrial Training Institutes have hostels and mess and that boundary walls are in place. Department principal secretary Dipak Kumar Singh made a presentation about various works.

Prasad visit

• PATNA: Union law minister Ravi Shankar Prasad will arrive in Bihar on November 4 on a two-day visit to the state.

College clash

• KISHANGANJ: Tension prevailed at Marwari College in Kishanganj after 15 students were arrested after they allegedly clashed with cops on Monday over postponement and delay of the BA Part I exam scheduled on October 30.
