Patna, Aug. 24: A high court bench headed by Chief Justice Rajendra Menon today gave the state four weeks to file a reply against a petition by Vikash Chandra alias Guddu Baba on the vacancies in the Bihar SC/ST Commission.

Guddu Baba had alleged that the chairman and the deputy chairman's posts, along with others, had been lying vacant for several years, forcing people to return empty-handed from the commission's office.

Stadium

Patna: A high court division bench of Chief Justice Rajendra Menon and Justice Anil Kumar Upadhyay on Thursday gave the state four weeks to file a reply on the sorry state of Moin-ul-Haque Stadium. The petitioner, Guddu Baba, had alleged that rampant encroachment in the stadium had led to its dilapidated condition.
