Kaif remand

Siwan: A CBI team on Thursday took Mohammad Kaif, alias Bunty, on remand for two days in connection with journalist Rajdev Ranjan's murder.

Kaif has agreed to undergo a narco test, which the six others accused in the case had earlier refused.

Patna: A single bench of Patna High Court of Justice Hemant Kumar Srivastava on Thursday reserved its order on the bail application of Teni Yadav, one of the co-accused in school student Aditya Sachdeva's road rage murder in Gaya allegedly for overtaking Rocky Yadav's (son of suspended JDU MLC Manorama Dev) SUV on May,7.

Credit MoU

Patna: The education department and heads of 12 banks signed an MoU on Thursday for the launch of student credit card scheme on October 2. The scheme, one of chief minister Nitish Kumar's seven resolves, would pave the way for students to get education loans. Students passing Class XII can get a loan up to Rs 4 lakh for higher studies.
