Court rejects bail plea

Patna: Additional district and sessions judge Prawez Alam on Saturday rejected a former St Xavier's High School, Patna, teacher's plea for bail in connection with the sexual assault of a four-year-old girl student.

Guilty

Patna: Additional district and sessions judge R.N. Tripathi on Saturday held Jitendra Singh, a resident of Gopalganj, guilty in connection with the seizure of fake currency in 2014.

Bribe FIR

Patna: Vigilance investigation bureau lodged an FIR against Shravan Kumar, a former Cooperative officer of Muzaffarpur, on November 18 in connection with a disproportionate assets case worth Rs 96.09 lakh. Kumar was arrested red-handed on October 20, while accepting a bribe of Rs 50,000.
