Chirag releases third list

Patna, Sept. 26: Lok Janshakti Party (LJP) MP Chirag Paswan released the third list of 11 candidates for the Assembly polls in New Delhi, today.

Names included Pramod Singh (Rafiganj), Sudha Devi Manhi (Barachhati), Rajkumar Sah (Lalganj), Pashupati Paras (Rajapakar), Deepika Devi (Hilsa) and Chote Lal Yadav (Ashtawan).

Nomination

Patna: Former chief minister Jitan Ram Manjhi on Saturday filed his nomination papers for the Imamganj Assembly seat in Gaya district, from where JDU has nominated Assembly speaker Uday Narayan Choudhary.

JAP names

Patna: Pappu Yadav's Jan Adhikar Party (Democratic) on Saturday announced their list of 11 candidates apart from promising outside support to Devendra Manjhi, the son-in-law of former chief minister Jitan Ram Manjhi.)

Cash seizure

Patna: A sum of Rs 1.85 lakh was recovered on Saturday during a checking drive near the Bhikhari Thakur Bridge from a car.

Three dead

Sasaram: Three members of a family were mowed down by a speeding train at Dinara railway station in Rohtas on Saturday. The incident took place when the victims were crossing the railway track at around 12pm.
