Abduction vehicles

Gaya: Police on Friday brought the three cars used in the abduction of physician Pankaj Gupta and his wife Shubhra, from Lucknow to Gaya.

The vehicles include the Guptas' Audi, a Fortuner of Rohtas-based contractor Ravi Ranjan Singh and the Innova used by the abductors. Senior superintendent of police Manu Maharaaj said 12 cellphones, the couple's clothes and ornaments were also brought back.

CISF aspirant dies

Patna, May 15: One Ranjan Kumar, 25, died after falling unconscious during a physical test for recruitment of constables in the Central Industrial Security Force, in Begusarai on Friday.

A resident of Patori Mukundpur village in Samastipur district, he fell unconscious during a physical test for recruitment of constables being held on the Baruani refinery ground.
