Seven coaches derail

Patna: Seven coaches of Katihar-Amritsar Amrapali Express (15707) derailed near Patraha station under Sonepur division in Khagaria district at 1:14am on Sunday.

East Central Railway chief public relations officer Arvind Kumar Rajak said there were no casualties.

New buses

Gopalganj: Dahari Sah, aresident of Rampur village, died after two groups allegedly fought in the emergency ward of Sadar hospital on Sunday.

Liquor drive

Sheikhpura (PTI): Police busted 150 illicit liquor-brewing units at Murapur in Sheikhpura on Sunday. They also seized a large quantity of equipment, raw materials and utensils used for processing country-made liquor.

Fire

Patna: At least 10 makeshift houses were gutted in a fire that broke out at Gardanibagh slum area in the capital on Sunday. However, there were no reports of any loss of human life.

Patna: Two persons were nabbed for their involvement in the murder of one Bibhash Kumar at Ghoswari in Patna rural in April earlier this year.
