A girl student was allegedly beaten up, stripped and photographed in the nude by her boyfriend after she refused his sexual advances at a city hotel on Saturday.

The girl, a Sitamarhi resident, is being treated at a private nursing home in Raja Bazar, under the jurisdiction of Shastrinagar police station. She is distantly related to a deputy superintendent of police.

A woman police officer at Shastrinagar police station recorded her statement on Monday and forwarded it to Kotwali police station, which covers the area where the hotel is located. An FIR has been lodged.

The girl, aged around 18-19, told the police her boyfriend Saket Anand (aged 20-21) called her to a hotel on Fraser Road on Saturday and made sexual advances. When she turned down his advances, Saket allegedly stripped her, brutally assaulted her and took her nude photographs. He also made a video to blackmail her.

The girl stays at a hostel on Boring Road and was preparing for competitive exams. She said she was dumped near Gandhi Maidan from where she reached a relative’s house at Ashiananagar.

The relative admitted her to a nursing home and informed the Shastrinagar police. “Her condition is stated to the stable,” the police officer who recorded her statement said over phone.
