Motihari, Jan. 5: A social organisation working for cultural and literary development in bordering areas, came forward and distributed 3,000 blankets among the poor at Raxaul on Wednesday.

Sambhavana, a social and cultural organisation, founded for humanitarian reasons in 2004 by a handful of sensitive persons and elites of the town had arranged the blanket distribution camp on the premise of the local Ram Janki Mandir.

Bharat Prasad and Ravindra Mishra are the president and the secretary of this organisation respectively.

Instead of any assistance or financial aid from anywhere, members of this organisation have been arranging funds through personal donations for cultural and literary programmes and welfare works every year. Isolated lepers, physically challenged and rickshaw pullers were the main beneficiaries on the occasion.
