Muzaffarpur, April 12: In two separate incidents, police busted a gang of motorcycle lifters and arrested two other criminals today.

The district police nabbed six members an inter-district gang of motorcycle lifters from Muzaffarpur, Vaishali and Samastipur. SSP, Muzaffarpur, Rajesh Kumar, said the police, acting on a tip-off, carried out a series of raids in the districts and recovered nine motorbikes and a car.

In the other incident, the Barhampura police arrested Anil Sahni and Shekhar Kumar, two alleged criminals, from Sikandarpur area today. Two pistols and four cartridges were recovered from them.
