PMCH clash

Patna: Nurses clashed with junior doctors at Patna Medical College and Hospital (PMCH) on Friday afternoon over the alleged rude behaviour of a doctor.

PMCH superintendent Lakhendra Prasad said the nurses did not work for around an hour after the clash. They filed an FIR accusing the doctors of physical violence.

Sushil jab

Patna: BJP leader Sushil Kumar Modi alleged that the Nitish Kumar government had not set up branches of national institutes in the state even though some such institutes had shown interest in setting up base in the state.

Tube wells

Darbhanga: The public health engineering department has sent written requests to district MLAs to identify places where tube wells can be sunk under the chief minister's tube-well project.

Patna: A delegation of Bihar Health Services Association on Friday met principal secretary, health, R.K. Mahajan, and submitted a 12-point charter to him, which lists their demands.
