Four of family suffocate
• Sitamarhi: Four members of a family died of suffocation while cleaning the tank of a toilet at Chhoti Belahi village under Sahiyara police station in the district on Sunday.
The deceased were identified as Ramashankar Das, Pradip Das, Mukesh and Santosh Sah. Sitamarhi superintendent of police Hari Prasath S. said the bodies have been sent to the sadar hospital for post-mortem.

• Patna: JDU worker Mantu Kumar allegedly committed suicide by hanging from a ceiling fan over a family dispute in his house at Nagma village in Patna rural on Sunday.

• Sitamarhi: Four youngsters were feared drowned in Manushmara river at Riga in Sitamarhi on Sunday. The victims had gone to fetch water for Navratri.
