Power cut alert

Patna: There would be power cut for three hours from 12noon on Friday in Rajiv Nagar, Professor Colony and Digha-Ashiana road. Kautilya Nagar, Machli Gali, R.K. Puram and Judges Colony would face a power cut of three hours from 11am.

Chitkohra, Sadhnapuri, Alkapuri, Vishnupuri, Damaria would witness a power cut of two hours from 12noon. Jakkanpur, DVC Chowk, Kachhi Talab, and Bypass Road would face power cut for three hours from 10am.

 Patna : The government has promoted four inspector-general (IG) rank officers as additional directors-general. The IPS officers, R.S. Bhatti, Neeraj Sinha, A.S. Rajan and Man Mohan Singh, are on central deputation.

Body found

Hajipur: Police recovered the body of Abhishek Kumar (19), kidnapped from Jadhua in Vaishali district on Sunday. Police said the victim's friend, Dheeraj Kumar, was arrested from Hajipur railway station.
