Rail protest

Munger, Feb. 14: Train services remained paralysed for three hours on the Jamalpur-Kiul section of the Eastern Railway when some protesters staged a dharna on the tracks near the Jamalpur Railway Junction this morning. They demanded that the Centre should declare the Jamalpur Railway Workshop into a manufacturing railway workshop.

The camp took place in many branches of the bank in the district and loans worth Rs 30 lakhs was dispatched among those who had applied.
