Exam duty

 Patna: The district administration has made elaborate arrangements to ensure the Intermediate examination, starting from Wednesday, is held peacefully. Security personnel and a magistrate would be deputed at each of the 67 exam centres in the district.

Court attack

 Gaya: An undertrial, Dilip Singh, was attacked by one Raju Singh on the Nawada court premises with a blade on Monday. Police seized the blood-stained blade and lodged a case against the assailant.

 Bettiah: Criminals barged into a house in the Bankers' Colony area early on Monday and fled with gold jewellery worth over Rs 10 lakh.
