Lynch over enmity

Nawada, Jan. 3 (PTI): A person belonging to Mahadalit community was beaten to death at Rustampur village in Nawada district.

Police said the deceased had been identified as Rajendra Manjhi and old enmity was suspected to be the cause of murder.

Lecture

 Patna: Bihar Institute of Economic Studies on Saturday organised a memorial lecture on the 40th death anniversary of former railway minister late Lalit Narayan Mishra.

Accident

 Begusarai (PTI): A person was killed and two others were injured on NH-31 near Ramjanpur village when the SUV they were travelling in rammed into a truck while trying to overtake it in the wee hours of Saturday.

Four Killed

Gaya (PTI): Four persons, including three minors, were killed and six others were injured in a collision between a bus and a tempo on Saturday.
