Fog train alert


 


Patna: East Central Railway on Wednesday announced cancellation of as many as 26 trains next month owing to fog.


 


The trains would be cancelled from December 31 to February 15. Some of the trains that have been cancelled, included Rajendra Nagar-Anand Vihar Express (134257/13258), Patliputra Danapur-Chandigarh Express (13255/13256) and Saharsa-Amritsar Express (15209/15210).

Ravi Chopra dead


 


Mumbai, Nov. 12 (PTI) : Veteran producer-director Ravi Chopra, known for Amitabh Bachchan-starrer Baghbaan and TV series Mahabharat, died here today. He was 68.


 


Chopra, the son of B.R. Chopra and nephew of Yash Chopra, was suffering from a lung ailment for some time. He is survived by his wife and three children. Chopra started his career with the Amitabh-Saira Banu-Shammi Kapoor starrer Zameer, followed by the big budget The Burning Train. Among the other films he directed were Mazdoor and Dahleez.
