Ara: Family members of the teenaged boy, whose body was found near a canal of Piyaniya here on Wednesday, accused police of failing to arrest the killers. makant is a son of a retired army man Subhas Prasad Singh and is a resident of Godhna road in the district. The police had recovered shoes from the spot that reveals that the killer might be young boy. The police said investigation is on and they will soon arrest the killers. Ara: Two absconding criminals were arrested on Monday. The duo, identified as Vinod Singh and Kanhaiya Singh, were accused of kidnapping and murdering a youth in Kankarbagh. They were hiding in their village (Baruna) in Bhojpur and were wanted by Patna police. Bhojpur superintendent of police MR Naik said: “Working on a tip off, Bihiya police nabbbed the duo from Baruna village. They will be handed over to Patna police late today evening.” Bhagalpur: A large team of policemen has been deployed at Bastanpur village in the Lodhipur block on Monday after criminals opened fire on the contractor and workers at the construction site of a water tank on Sunday night.
