Shuffle in IAS ranks
Patna, Dec. 15: The state government on Monday transferred four IAS officers, including the managing directors of the State Tourism Development Corporation and State Warehousing Corporation.
According to a notification issued by the general administration department, the State Tourism Development Corporation managing director, Anupam Kumar Suman, has been transferred and posted as officer on special duty in the finance department, while the state warehousing corporation managing director, Dilip Kumar, has been shifted to the state textbook corporation in the same capacity.

Patna: Food and consumer protection minister Shyam Rajak and rural development minister Nitish Mishra jointly laid the foundation stone of Phulwarisharif block-cum-circle officeon Monday. The building would be constructed at a cost of Rs 71 crore.

Muzaffarpur: Three criminals shot at Minapur resident Sanjay Kumar and looted his motorcycle at gunpoint at Dighra village on Monday evening. Kumar has been admitted to the SKMCH.
Animal racket
Sasaram: A team of forest officials on Monday arrested a woman and recovered nine bombs, skin and skeleton of different animals from her possession. The woman, identified as Tulsi Bai, is a resident of Uttar Pradesh. A case was lodged against her on charge of being involved in sale of organs of dead animals.

Gaya: Inmates of Gaya Central Jail have started an agitation on Monday in support of their 20-point demand.

Patna: Two unidentified men allegedly looted Rs 6.15 lakh from an employee of a financial company on Monday, barely 10 steps away from Bakhtiarpur police station.
