While many cricket enthusiasts watched the final of the ICC Challengers Trophy within the confines of their homes on Sunday, there were many who thronged various facilities in the city to watch the match played between the arch
rivals — India and Pakistan — on big screens along with special cuisines.

At Spice Court restaurant of hotel Maurya, all staff, including waiters, wore the Indian cricket team's jerseys. A cricket pitch had been formed and the restaurant offered mocktails named Kohli Punch, Dhoni Short, Between the Wicket and others. Free complementary food, including fish fry and chicken lollipop, was being provided on the fall of every Pakistani wicket while complementary ice cream was planned if an Indian player hit a six.

At Mezbaan restaurant, special combo packages, including chicken lollypop , chicken sunrise, and others was on offer. The venue was decorated with Indian flags while Hungama Water Park put up a 12ft LED screen. Shuchismita Chakraborty spoke to a few cricket lovers before their hopes were dashed
