
Philatelist Pradeep Jain shows postal stamps related to Mahatma Gandhi’s life at a postal exhibition organised by the art, culture and youth affairs department at Bharatiya Nrtiya Kala Mandir to mark the centenary year of Bapu’s return from South Africa to India. The Father of the Nation’s great-grandson, Tushar Gandhi, was also present at the programme. Manjhi inaugurated the six -day postal-cum-painting exhibition in the presence of art and culture minister Vinay Bihari, department secretary Anand Kishore and other eminent guests, including artist Shyam Sharma. Inaugurating the exhibition, Manjhi asked people to follow in Gandhi’s footsteps, while his great-grandson asked the state government to organise more such programmes to motivate people to live by Bapu’s principles.
