Patna, Jan. 22: Twinkling eyes, chubby cheeks and innocent smiles today won hearts, as well as prizes, during the spring festival and baby show organised at the Rajendra Nagar wing of Tender Hearts International school.

Students of Junior Mont I to Class V regaled the audience with performances to hits like Bhumbro and Chanda Chamke. Director of Tender Hearts International Rajiv Bhargava said: “I regularly organise such events to ensure that the children are not inhibited on stage. Such cultural events are important for the all-round development of the kids.”

Ankita from Junior Mont I, who performed to Aqua’s Barbie Girl, had a very proud father in the audience. Rakesh Kumar said: “Getting such an opportunity at such a tender age will rid Ankita of stage fright and add to her personality.”

At the baby show, which categorised the tiny tots into two groups, saw Swar win the first prize for chubby cheeks and Abhigyan Singh for curly hair. Arman Ahmad bagged the prize for twinkling eyes while Jeet Pankaj and Zaira were named Winter Prince and Winter Princess.
