Reserve Bank of India (RBI) on Monday organised a financial literacy and awareness programme in Patna for students of St Paul’s School, Digha, to explain to them the role and the function of the central bank. The RBI’s regional director, Patna, MK Verma, addressed around 80 Class X students and teachers at the event on the bank’s premises. The programme was held as part of its Pathshala initiative where students are apprised of financial products of banks with the help of “Junior”, a robot, which helps youths understand the intricacies of banking transactions.
