Patna: The special investigation team of Patna police on Saturday filed its first chargesheet against nine persons, including a bank official, in the Rs 15-crore toilet scam. The SIT has arrested 22 persons so far.

The investigating officer submitted the chargesheet in the special vigilance court headed by special vigilance judge Madhukar Kumar. The chargesheeted include Shiv Shankar Jha, a deputy branch manager of SBI, Patna, Priti Bharti, a data entry operator in the office of public health and engineering department and seven office-bearers of NGO Maa Sarveshwari Seva Sansthan.
