Former Pakistan Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif has been attacked in London, according to anandabazar.com.
The alleged assault comes a day before the no-trust motion against Sharif's political foe Prime Minister Imran Khan at the National Assembly.
Pakistani journalist Ahmad Noorani, posted on Twitter, “Pakistan’s former Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif has been attacked in London by a PTI activist. Action must be taken in Pakistan against the PTI as now the party has crossed all limits. Physical violence can never be condoned. PTI must be made an example now.”
Sharif's daughter Maryam quoted a tweet which stated, "Young man attempts to attack Nawaz Sharif outside his office in London, gives mobile phone and hits the phone guard. Guard injured. Guard injured. But the phone hit Nawaz Sharif who hit the guard."
