Jakarta, Jan. 10 (Reuters): A bomb explosion late today at a cafe on Indonesia’s Sulawesi island killed four people and wounded several others, police and hospital sources said.
The bomb went off at a karaoke cafe around 1500 GMT in South Sulawesi province’s Palopo regency. Asked whether a bomb had exploded, police in Palopo said by phone: “Yes, that’s true,” adding that it happened at a cafe on the road to Makassar, the capital of South Sulawesi, which lies 1,400 km east of Jakarta.
