Hello Adele

Los Angeles, Oct. 23 (PTI): After teasing fans with a surprise 30-second clip of her new single during the X Factor television show, Adele has now premiered the video for Hello.

The six-minute video has been shot by Xavier Dolan and features stunning shots of the Canadian countryside shots mixed with impressive acting sequences to tell the story, reports Billboard magazine.

Speaking of the collaboration, Dolan described working on the video as a “privilege”, adding: “When I first heard it, all the images were already running by so clearly in my head — and her trust and generosity allowed me to create freely.
Hello is Adele’s first single in three years following 2012’s Oscar-winning Skyfall.

Sandra son

Los Angeles (PTI): Actress Sandra Bullock has denied rumours that she has expanded her family with an adopted baby girl. In an interview for her new film Our Brand Is Crisis, the Oscar-winning actress said that there’s only one adopted child in her household. “There is only one adopted child in my household and his name is Louis,” she said. “If I had a second adopted child, everyone would be hearing about it. I would be loud and clear and say, ‘Yes, I have officially adopted a second child.’ Right now, Louis must be it.”

Sarah swap

Los Angeles (Reuters): Sarah Silverman swaps comedy for drama in I Smile Back, playing a frustrated housewife with a history of mental illness, who tries to make herself happier with drugs, alcohol and casual affairs.  The American stand-up comedienne says portraying Laney Brooks came quite naturally but the subject matter may not suit all tastes. “Comedians in general tend to come from a dark place,” she said.

Grande clip

Los Angeles (PTI): Singer Ariana Grande has shared a new snippet of her upcoming single Focus a week before its official release. The 22-year-old singer shared an Instagram clip featuring her crooning some lines. “I know you’re hoping that I’ll react I know you’re hopin I’m lookin back but if my real ain’t real enough... then I dunno what is,” she said.

Hank film

Nashville, Tennessee (Reuters): When British actor Tom Hiddleston was tasked with portraying country music legend Hank Williams, whose tragic, short life was marred by adultery, alcohol and drugs, he wanted to do it as objectively as possible. “It is the responsibility of the actor to tell the truth and to not judge a character,” Hiddleston, who plays Williams in the drama film I Saw the Light.
