January 27 at Weavers’ Studio Centre for the Arts, 94 Ballygunge Place; 7 pm: Dramatized readings of excerpts from Raja Oeidipaus (based on greek tragedy Oeidipus by Sophocles) and Raja (a play by Rabindranath Tagore) by Bijoylakshmi Barman and Sujoy Prosad Chatterjee. The lead cast would be supported by Partha Mukherjee and Shantanu Gupta, and on the vocals (for Raja) would be Rabindrasangeet singer Suchhanda Ghosh.
