An annual crafts exhibition that showcases decorative Indian art pieces featuring traditional metalware customised for contemporary use, the month-long Art in Life 2010 captures the essence of life with handmade art objects made of brass, marble, bronze, silver, copper, wood and cloth. Visitors can take their pick from a range of hand-painted T-shirts, masks, exclusive saris, dyes and weaves in handloom, stoles, scarves, cloth umbrellas, tribal art, jewellery, wall hangings, books, carpets, linens, leather puppets, embroidered bags, bronze and wooden figurines, durries and ethnic dokra items, sourced from all across the country spanning Kerala, Tamil Nadu and Andhra Pradesh to Rajasthan, Orissa and West Bengal.
