Just jazz
Having worked with numerous musicians from all over the world for the last two-and-a-half decades, percussionist and drummer Wolfgang Haffner has been at the forefront of the international music scene. His discography as an artiste on drums includes more than 400 records — and he is increasingly in demand as a bandleader and composer as well. The ongoing 2009/2010 tour, Round Silence, showcases the album of the same name in Asia and Europe. Apart from the immensely talented co-artistes of his trio Christian Diener (bass) and Hubert Nuss (piano), Haffner has been joined by various star guests like Kim Sanders, Chuck Loeb, Dominic Miller or Nils Landgren who have further enriched the finely woven musical tapestry that makes this album special. All the eleven songs are originals by Haffner himself.

Event: An evening of jazz by the Wolfgang Haffner trio When: Today at 6.30 pm Where: Max Mueller Bhavan auditorium
