Till February 20: British Council announces an all-India creative writing competition, After Dickens, in collaboration with Penguin India for writers between the ages of 16 and 21. Entries can be poetry, short stories, reportage, and writers can submit upto two pieces of work, of maximum 500 words each. Each piece must be given a title and must be in English. It should be inspired by Dickens or be Dickensian in flavour. The best six entries shall be uploaded on the British Council global website and will win attractive prizes.
