Vocal exposition
Rasikhapriya is celebrating its 14th anniversary with a festival of Carnatic classical music. Featuring vocal and instrumental music, it brings together on a common platform performances by both veteran artistes and the foremost among the young generation of Carnatic classical musicians. Today, the penultimate day of the festival, features a vocal recital by the Malladi Brothers, Sreerama Prasad and Ravi Kumar, accompanied by H.N. Bhaskar (violin), M.L.N. Raju (mridangam) and Guntur M. Hari Babu (ghatam). Eminent classical singer T.V. Sankaranarayanan will present a vocal recital tomorrow, as the festival’s concluding performance. He will be accompanied by H.N. Bhaskar (violin) and Srimushnam V. Raja Rao (mridangam).
