Shopping for a cause
Organised by Rotary Club of Central Calcutta, the third edition of The Good Life, in association with t2, begins today. It brings to discerning and elite visitors a wide array of lifestyle products from all over the country. Exhibitors will be showcasing wares like art and craft pieces, fashion garments including traditional and Indo-Western attire, shawls, stoles and bridal saris, jewellery (both real and costume), fashion accessories like bags and shoes, home décor items such as linen, cushion covers, mats, dry flowers, wooden products, kids fashionwear, and party theme-makers, as also skincare items. This year, the exhibition boasts of names such as Emami Group, Sylvan Splendour, Padmakriti, AS Jewellers, Samskara, Tatwamm, Diazone, Pinocchio, AVM Collections, Sheytal’s and many more. Participants from Mumbai, Bangalore, Kashmir and Delhi add a national flavour to the three-day event. Proceeds from the show will go towards the support of the Club’s social service projects, specially for the building of a home for senior citizens, Apnalaya, in Thakurpukur.
