Calcutta, Dec. 23: Roopa Ganguly was admitted to AMRI Salt Lake on Friday morning after she complained of severe headache.

Examinations revealed a "mild cerebral haemorrhage", hospital officials said. "Her condition is stable and she is conscious," an official said.

The actress-turned-BJP MP is admitted in a private cabin and will be kept under observation.
