Cooch Behar, Feb. 2: The Greater Cooch Behar Democratic Party has decided to contest the panchayat elections in the district along with the Kamtapur Progressive Party and the All Koch Rajbanshi Students’ Union, reports our correspondent.

Party president Asutosh Barman made this announcement at a rally organised jointly by the three organisations at Burirhaat-Langolia in the Dinhata police station area. Barman said they would contest in all the 128 gram panchayat seats in the district.
