Calcutta, March 10: Sunil Gupta has been appointed the next chief electoral officer (CEO) of Bengal.

Gupta, the project director of the National Rural Health Mission, will replace Debabsish Sen, the managing director of the West Bengal Power Development Corporation. Sen was holding additional charge as chief electoral officer.
