Jalpaiguri, March 15: Representatives of the Child Welfare Committee of Jalpaiguri district today said they were facing problems to keep infants rescued from different areas as the sole home where such children were kept had closed down.

In Jalpaiguri, the North Bengal People's Development Centre, an NGO headed by Chandana Chakraborty, used to run Bimala Sishu Griha, the home for infants and children. It was closed down in January following allegations of anomalies.
