Dec. 18: Mamata Banerjee today asked Singur’s unwilling farmers to cultivate the land “forcibly acquired” from them by the state government.

“We want the government to return the land of the unwilling farmers after Tata’s pullout. But the land has not been returned to you. So start cultivating,” she told a rally in Gopalnagar on the second death anniversary of Tapasi Malik.
