Sometimes a touch, a look and a smile can make all the difference and that is how a bunch of children hand-held a group of 40 trustees and members of Kolkata Gives on a visit to Ananda Ghar, a home for children affected by HIV and AIDS in Gobindopur, on Sunday afternoon. The children showed the guests around their home, played games with them, shared a meal and entertained them with yoga and dance skills as part of an initiative to build a bridge between NGOs and those eager to contribute to a cause. “I was a little apprehensive at first but I’m so glad I came. It’s been an eye-opener meeting the children and learning about the disease. I plan to return with my family soon,” said one. “I’m going to go back and tell everyone what I did this Sunday. A day when I would have otherwise been hopping from one friend's place to another, ordering pizzas, watching movies and whiling away time,” said another
