Pintu Chowrasia, 35, was arrested near Asansol on Tuesday in connection with the abduction and murder of Mukesh Jaiswal , a joint owner of a Salt Lake eatery. “Pintu admitted to slitting Jaiswal’s throat,” said an officer. Jaiswal had gone missing on March 22 evening after leaving City Centre in a taxi. His body was found in a New Barrackpore sewer. The cops had earlier arrested Jaiswal’s friend Sarod Gandhi, 30, and his elder brother Sree for masterminding the murder.
