Calcutta, Oct. 25: Former sheriff Mohan Kumar Mukherjee died on Thursday at his Kidderpore residence. He was 88.

Subinoy Ghosh, former mayor of Howrah Municipal Corporation and senior CPM leader, died this morning at Dibrugarh, Assam. He was 68.
