Shaukat Hussain Khan performs raga Jaijaiwanti at Calcutta Club Classical Music Conference 2015, presented by Centuryply, in association with The Telegraph, on Sunday. After an hour-and-a-half of mesmerising vocals, the stage was left to sitar maestro Shahid Parvez to play compositions in raga Jhinjhoti followed by a dhun in raga Mishra Khamaj. The two-day music festival began on Saturday with performances by Kuchipudi exponents Yamini and Bhavana Reddy and vocalist Manjiri Asnare-Kelkar. Picture by Pabitra Das
