The two-day long Confluence 2017, an inter-school event organised by St Michael's School, Siliguri, in association with The Telegraph, concluded in Siliguri on Friday. The event was held at Savin Kingdom in Dagapur. In total, 17 schools had participated in the event where quiz, creative writing, spell bee and debate contests were held.Teams from schools in Ajmer, Bokaro, Pune, Hazaribagh and Gangtok took part in the contests, said the organisers.On the first day, three categories of quiz were held. They were Sadhan Banerjee Inter School Quiz for juniors, Mohammad Shahid Memorial Sports and Entertainment Quiz and Francis Grocer Memorial Quiz.The hosts, St Michael's, bagged the top slot in the junior and senior quizzes, while the team from Delhi Public School, Siliguri, turned out to be winners of the sports and entertainment quiz.
