She glittered in gold and diamonds that went off well with her chanderi lehenga and peacock green choli. Soha Ali Khan was the centre of attraction for all shutterbugs as she showed off some of PC Chandra’s exclusive wedding collection jewellery at their brand new showroom that opened its doors on February 22 at Howrah Maidan.
Soha donned some typical Bengali wedding jewellery like a mantasha on her hand, a long gold necklace paired with long danglers to show off the new collection that will be displayed in the showroom. She later wore some of the showroom’s diamond wedding jewellery as well.
Soha’s first visit to Howrah was for the sneak preview of PC Chandra’s showroom a day before the official inauguration by the Howrah Municipal Corporation (HMC) mayor, Rathin Chakraborty. PC Chandra’s new showroom, spread over 4,000 square feet is the first prestigious showroom in Howrah. “We have opened 26 showrooms pan India and this one is the twenty-second showroom in West Bengal. Since the group is expanding and Howrah is next door neighbour of Calcutta, we thought of opening a showroom here,” said Sudhhasattwa Basu, the general manager (marketing) of PC Chandra Jewellers. The new outlet will showcase all the collections of PC Chandra Jewellers such as D’Elite, Goldlites, Astral and their exclusive wedding jewellery. “We are also campaigning for the Goldlites collection in all our showrooms because this is our low cost range between Rs 3,000 to 15,000. The collection includes regular wear jewellery,” said Basu.
