New Year’s Eve is best spent amidst familiar faces and warm love of old relations and that’s exactly how it unfolded at Black & White Packaged Drinking Water Presents The Telegraph CC&FC 31st Nite in association With David & Goliath on the last day of the year. Warm bonfires at regular intervals and Manasi Scott’s enthusiastic performance of familiar Bollywood tracks had everyone crowding the dance floor. Singing songs like Shape of You, Girls Like You, Galla goodiyan and 2, the artiste also happened to be celebrating her birthday with Calcutta this year!
Opening for her act was singer Prateek Bhaduri who had the audience jumping on the dance floor with his rendition of the Goanese favourite Galyan sakli sonachi and songs like Subah hone na de and Disco 82!

Sip and bite: With a separate vegetarian section set up at the back, the food counters at CC&FC were abuzz with people lining up to buy a plate of Murgh Malai Tikka, the clear favourite of the night. Some other dishes that were flying off the racks were Cheezy Dragon Rolls, Chicken Yakitori, Dynamite Chilli Chicken, Panko Golden Fried Prawn and Double-fried Roast Pork.
