Spotify has turned 20, and to mark the occasion, the streaming platform is giving users something they have never had access to before: a complete, personalised breakdown of their entire listening history since the day they joined.
The feature, called ‘Spotify 20: Your Party of the Year(s)’, is available now in the Spotify mobile app. Unlike the annual Wrapped feature, which covers only a single year, this one goes all the way back to whenever you first signed up — making it the most comprehensive look at your listening life the platform has ever offered.
Users who access the experience will be able to see the date they first joined Spotify, the first song they ever streamed on the platform, the total number of unique songs they have listened to across their entire time on the service, and their all-time most streamed artiste. Alongside these personal statistics, Spotify is also generating each user an all-time top 120 tracks playlist.
Each piece of data comes with a shareable card that can be saved or posted to social media platforms including Instagram, following the format that made Wrapped a cultural fixture each December.
To access it, open the Spotify mobile app and search ‘Spotify 20’ or ‘Party of the Year(s)’, or head to spotify.com/20 on a mobile browser.
The launch also coincides with Spotify revealing its all-time platform records, offering a broader picture of how listening habits have shifted over two decades and which acts have defined the streaming era.
