Filmmaker Aniruddha Roy Chowdhury is set to make a much-anticipated return to Bengali cinema after a hiatus of 11 years. The film, titled Dear Maa, is produced by Flying Colours Pictures, ABP Creations, Ace of Spades Entertainment and Opus Communications.
It is a thriller that explores the intricacies of various relationships, raising questions about bonding beyond blood ties and whether love can triumph over all obstacles.

The cast and crew gathered at the Hyatt Regency Kolkata on Tuesday evening for the film’s poster launch, with a release planned for next month.
