Several trains expected to be delayed in Chakradharpur division

Train services will remain affected in Chakradharpur division of South Eastern Railway (SER) on Tuesday because of the commissioning of a limited-height subway between Muradih and Madhukunda and a culvert between Joychandi Pahar and Garhdhrubeswar in Adra-Asansol section.

Services will be disrupted from 11.30am to 5.30pm.

Two Up and Down Memu Passenger trains, Asansol-Adra and Asansol-Purulia, will remain cancelled for the day.

The Up Tatanagar-Asansol Memu Passenger will stop at Adra, which means the service between Adra and Asansol will remain cancelled.

The Up Asansol-Barabhum Memu Passenger will originate from Adra,which means the service will remain cancelled between Asansol and Adra.

The Up Tatanagar-Asansol Express will leave Tatanagar at 2.30pm instead of 1pm.

The Ranchi-Asansol Memu Passenger will leave Ranchi at 1.10pm against 12.30 pm.

A railway spokesperson said several trains were expected to be delayed in Chakradharpur division.
