Jamshedpur, Sept. 28: The porcelain beauty from the steel city has certainly come a long way.

After acting, it?s a journey into the world of fashion and design for Simone Singh (in the picture), who shot to fame with her television serial Heena.

The actor now has new interests in her busy life ? styling and designing, along with two projects in her kitty, Zee TV?s Kashish and Kosmic Chat on Zoom.

But Singh?s acting skills are not the only thing that the country is talking about. The actor from Heena has revealed that she has a flair for design.

Explaining her foray into the design territory, Singh said: ?We have a designer and a stylist for Kosmic Chat now, but initially I did it all by myself.? ?I started it by mixing and matching different aspects of style and gradually even the channel people liked it, but now I have designer Neeta Malhotra to guide me with the look in my serial,? she said with a dazzling smile.

Does she plan to become a stylist? ?No, not now, anyway who has the time to think about what may happen in the future? Styling is what I love doing. It?s something that I may think about once I get time away from my daily routine,? she says, who has become very popular with the guests on her show. ?Designing has always been a passion,? reveals Singh, ?I like style and design, but it?s generally my own intuition that guides me.?

When asked to choose her favourite between the two shows, Singh says: ?Both the shows are completely different from each other and are also different from the usual shows on television and that is the reason why I decided to do them.?

So what after her small but appreciated role in Karan Johar?s Kal Ho Na Ho. Singh is tight-lipped over her next performance on the silver screen. ?You have to wait. I have got offers but have not signed any projects yet,? she says.

The actor, however, regretted not getting enough time to meet up with people from her home town. And what about the other big name from her home town, who was currently cooking up a storm with his role in the recently-released Ramji Londonwale.

?I met R. Madhavan a few days ago at my show. It was nice to meet him since I had known him from my Jamshedpur days,? she says.
